Ty Ellih, CEO, OC, Principal Planner & Designer
Born Tynesia E. Hill, and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, left in 1995 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Forensic and Cultural Anthropology/Pre Med at Iowa State University in small town Ames, Iowa. She later obtained her Masters of Business Administration in 2006. It was in 1998 when she planned her first wedding of a close friend that she realized her passion. After much research and following the work of wedding industry leaders Diann Valentine, Preston Bailey, and David Tutera, she established her business ELITE Signature Services, LLC. After graduating and successfully operating in Ames for five years, she relocated her business to Atlanta, Georgia in 2003 where she has operated for the past 17 years. Ty is also an ordained clergy and has married hundreds of couples since 2015.
In the fall of 2012 a neighboring business caught fire and severely damaged ELITE’s headquarters. The memories of hundreds of weddings and events went up in smoke causing Ty to start over. After the soot settled, Ty saw an opportunity to facelift the company and start anew. Her first decision was rebranding as Life & Style Events, a subsidiary of Ty Ellih, LLC, to be inclusive of her passion for event and interior design. Her business might have caught flame, but the no non-sense “meek diva’s” passion for this industry is always afire. And while the name is no longer ELITE, the standard is and always will be, hospitality served with Expression-Love-Insight-Taste-and-Elegance.
Life & Style Events
Life & Style Events is a wedding and event planning company who also specializes in event and interior design. Our life events include almost 500 weddings, thousands of events including showers, anniversaries, birthdays, fashion shows, conventions, concerts, retreats, galas, and so much more. Sometimes we aren’t hired to plan these events, but to design and decorate them. Our style events include florals and décor for the aforementioned, residential and commercial interiors, space organization, and staging.
In the world of planning and design there isn’t much we haven’t done, and there are no limits to where we will go. We’ve worked with clients both domestically and internationally. We LOVE to travel, and we are where you need us to be. We look forward to working with you!
